I'm starting feeling concerned about Messi . Not that i think he won't be ready but i have this unpleasant feeling that he may get a serious injury during the game. He must play even if he is to be subbed out after.

Essentially its Bartra or Abidal.

I think choosing Abidal would be a horrible slap in the face for the young kid. First you pick a midget Brazilian who is inferior there, then you pick a guy coming back from something that was supposed to end his career with just 1 start under his belt.

Ultimately we have to choose whats best and what will win the game, but its the sort of selection that makes or breaks Bartra's career...

Either way, I'll be pretty happy though. I've got confidence in Bartra. The key is defend from the front.

Tbh, I think if we make the final... Abidal has a huge chance of playing at least.

He already looks amazing there. He was our best defender before injury, now he may resume his place. Crazy.

I don't think he's fit enough to play LB quite yet. He has only played like 150 minutes since returning home, and all as CB. LB involved a much higher physical commitment.
