The Refereeing In Fiorentina - Milan

Tagliavento had a terrible match today. He altered the course of the match completely on more than one occasion. Off the top of my head, here are some of his mistakes.

1- Sending off Tomovic.
2- Giving Fiorentina their first penalty when it was an obvious dive.
3- The ball hits Roncaglia's arm in the penalty box in the dying minutes while Tagliavento is standing right in front of him. No penalty is given.

It's a shame because this game was supposed to be a a deciding fixture to determine 3rd place, yet the ref had to screw up badly. Send this guy to Serie B!

Yeah, that's what I was referring to, but I thought it was Roncaglia. Edited.

Ah nevermind, it was Roncaglia

The ref also gave easy fouls to Balo, and I dont think second penalty should've been given.

Fiorentina's second penalty was actually pretty legitimate. It was the first one which shouldn't have been given.

at 3:34, very soft call by the ref, it looks like Cuadrado was looking for the penalty.

Milan got several dubious calls in the last few matches (including today's red card which ruined the match) so now I'm happy to see this time the ref wasn't afraid to award a penalty to Fiorentina.

Worst refereeing performance this season in Serie A. That's two seasons in a row for Tagliavento. Messi of referees

Fiorentina's second penalty was legitimate and that was the only correct decision the ref made. The first penalty was a clear dive. The red card was harsh, should have been a yellow. The handball was a clear penalty. And he could not have been in a more perfect position to view it. I also think Abate deserved a penalty as he was clearly pushed in the back and there was a lot of contact.
