Milan vs Fiorentina
Peobable Milan starting XI: (4-4-2): Donnarumma; Abate, Alex, Romagnoli, Antonelli; Honda, Montolivo, Bertolacci, Bonaventura; Niang, Bacca
Probable Fiorentina starting XI: (3-4-2-1 ): Tatarusanu; Roncaglia, Tomovic, Astori; Blaszczykowski, Vecino, Borja Valero, Marcos Alonso; Ilicic, Bernardeschi; Kalinic
No Cerci (Apparently his Genoa move is close to completion).
Don't really know what to expect from this game. I'm hoping the team shows up and is able to perform.

Re: Milan vs Fiorentina
I am very pleased with the lead and the focus and effort it took to keep it , but , i can't help myself , i need to say it
It pisses me off to no end that we can't actually play football against Fiorentina. It literally makes me angry to see Fiorentina be the team that dictates the flow of the game in San Siro .
We went in and started the game with real conviction , which soon led to a goal . We then kept trying for a short period to extend the lead and it generally looked it was going well , up until Fiorentina finally calmed down and begun with their game . Entire rest of the game we were utter droll and never played again , whilst watching Fiorentina playing football in our turf .
It pisses me off to no end . I know we don't have much of a choice right now , but i simply can't stand it . That's our game and that's our best bet to get points , i get it , but seeing Fiorentina outplaying us and making us look like a provincial team , it's painful .
And playing right into Mihajlovic's plans and perception with that as well , himself said it we must have the focus of a 'provincial team' in defence. Meaning , we need to sit back and defend forever until we get to counter . Someone really needs to tell him that was one of the very on point reasons Inzaghi was sacked last season .
And rightfully so , Milan isn't meant to be pinned back and outplayed by Fiorentina or anyone in our home. I cannot stand this shit anymore , i want Milan to play 5 fkn passes together , is that really such a big demand ??
This utter droll bs is not Milan . I literally can't wait for the day it stops , it's unacceptable to watch Milan resort to this. play football for crying out loud we're not Chievo...

was about to say the same

Re: Milan vs Fiorentina
We actually won this
Very happy with the win , since we won against a very good team. Not so happy about how we did it .
That said , i am really glad we won with the clean 2-0 and i guess there's many positives to be found , such as our discipline and focus . Very pleased with the effort and determination of the team .
I still can't get past the fact we don't play the football we need to be playing as Milan , but it will have to do for now. What's important is to get into EL at least , so i guess i gladly have to concede about the way we manage it , as long as we do.

Re: Milan vs Fiorentina
It was ugly, crude, and boring as hell, but I'm actually very very happy with this result.
To grind out a solid 2-0 win against a team like Fio is very impressive, and like it or not with the squad we have this is the only way we can get results.

Re: Milan vs Fiorentina
I agree completely , even when i wish it was different. Wins are great , but strictly speaking about our football , we're an utter disgrace when the team in question is Milan . I guess we must make do and hope for the best , if that's what gets us EL , i'll have it , definitely .
I badly hope things get better in the summer though . I really don't want to see Milan keep playing like this next season .

Re: Milan vs Fiorentina
Funnily enough, we could cut down the difference between us and Inter to just 5 points if we win the next 2 games
Not that we will
Not that we will
