One final throw of the dice?
Win or lose it has been a wonderful season.
Also, I believe your enthusiastic support of Camacho will be rewarded today El Sharawway

Hummels, Kuba, Reus, Weidenfeller are all fit again. No excuses for Dortmund.

Re: Malaga vs BVB
Dat Hummels and Kuba boost. If they lose with that XI, Malaga will have truly beaten them. But whatever happens tonight, awesome run by Dortmund. Took 4 pts off City and Real, curbstomped Ajax, humiliated Donezk in the return leg - whatever happens, Dortmund can be proud.
That being said, I fully expect them to win this tie. And if they don't collect any dumb suspensions, or get another critical injury, they have a decent chance to even make the final.

Re: Malaga vs BVB
Mou praising Pellegrini or wanting the easiest possible draw in the semis
But imho regardless of whether Malaga progress or not they will have had a successful season of course it would be a cherry on top if they made the CL final but the players, coaching staff and fans should be proud of how the season has panned out. the owner on the other hand can rot in hell

Obviously Mourinho wouldn't be happy to meet either of Barca, Bayern or Dortmund XD (I left out Juve as possibility as they are currently an unknown quantity versus Real)halamadrid2 wrote:Mou praising Pellegrini or wanting the easiest possible draw in the semis

Re: Malaga vs BVB
Was having a discussion earlier on with Hala on the chances of Malaga to go through versus Dortmund. He presented his side of the debate in seeing Malaga go through since he feels they are an overlooked quality as a whole within Europe and that they should be able to overcome Dortmund.
Where I differed was that Dortmund (as a team) possess 2+ years of European experience as opposed to Malaga and that Dortmund within Westfalenstadion are a different beast to the Dortmund away. BvB seem to thrive in situations where they can anticipate previously played teams coming into Dortmund where the sheer atmosphere and the more attacking play (compared to away legs) will be too daunting for the opposition, even if they are an excellent team like Malaga.
Hala provided good points yet might change his opinion based on this:
-Toulalon is unlikely to have the performance he did in the 1st leg and Camacho is ruled out (?)
-Kuba and Hummels are back. Both of them highly vital to BvB with Kuba being a dark horse of the team
-Pellegrini's late father passed away (Rest his soul) as Manu had to spend the whole week within Argentina in preparations for his timely death along with the obvious mourning of a father passing away. This obviously clouded Pelle's judgement and time constraints based on Sociedad's 4-2 win and will have surely hindered his tactical preparation for the game.
I'm supporting Malaga, yet don't see them going through as I see a 3-1/3-0 for BvB

Re: Malaga vs BVB
Was there any reason Kuba didn't start in the first leg btw?
He's such a great player and one of Dortmund's best players IMO.
Hummels is ridiculously important too, some might not rate him defensively but for control and playmaking he makes them so much better its like having another CM back there.
Just watch the Bayern game in the cup where Dortmund couldn't get out without Hummels playmaking from the back pushing them forward.
Was quite embarrassing to see so he will make a massive difference i would imagine.
Anyway Malaga clearly have a chance but i would expect Dortmund to power home like they did against Shakhtar.

Re: Malaga vs BVB
Honestly hoping for Dortmund to shoot blanks today. No animosity towards Die Borussen, very fine club they are but I've enjoyed Malaga's campaign so far and would like it to continue just a bit more.
Would also like UEFA to show just a little compassion and lift Malaga's European ban, just for at least one more year.

Mole Kuba was through injury, I believe. He has been struggling with these minor occurrences throughout the season. Its nice to see you acknowledge his importance to Dortmund as he is genuinely good and a massive big game individual.
Hummels criticism of defence aside, Dortmund look considerably subdued without him as you are correct on his playmaking is vital for their fast counters and distribution to the wide areas. Subotic is another fantastic CB who has excellent skill on the ball yet not the passing ability of Hummels unfortunately. I was thinking of the same match you were.
Both of these starters back, Malaga won't know whats coming to them.
OT: I disagree on the ban being lifted. Its encouraging to see FFP finally being taken into effect after years of loophole exploitation. It will set an example to the rest of Europe

1-1 HT, I knew Malaga could surprise Although Dortmund still the better team and playing better football, what a backheel and combine play to equalise.
It really is the old guards vs the new boys, still could go either way~
