Re: Malaga vs BVB
I think it's a good result for Malaga and it was an OK game. Watched it when I got home.
BVB couldn't finish though and I expect them to dismantle Malaga at home when they'll finish their chances. They could have won 3-0 tonight easily and Malaga never really threatened that much. I just don't think Malaga have the quality.

Let's not forget Mole is Valencian, after the way Isco dumped them, no wonder he hates.

Thought it was a decent game despite 0-0.
Hard to call second leg. I give Malaga more of a chance now with lack of Dortmund away goal.

I don't think I could stomach seeing both Malaga and PSG in the semis

Poor Juve already a non-factor for some people
Anyway I think Malaga can do it. A scoring draw sees them through and Dortmund aren't exactly a defensive powerhouse, but if BVB turn it on in attack they might be too much for Malaga in the end.
Anyway I hope Isco has a huge game in Germany, it would ensure that there is weight behind our slowly growing campaign to sign him

Re: Malaga vs BVB
I think Dortmund and Malaga are pretty close overall. In this game Dortmund obviously wasted their better chances, but I get the feeling they still need to mature a bit, whereas Malaga all players are experienced. It will be a close second leg I think~

Re: Malaga vs BVB
Pelle to outclass Klopp in Germany. Malaga to go through and knock out Madrid in the Semis
Edit: FYI I have been calling it since the draw was announced.

VivaStPauli wrote:Lewandowski is a good player, he just has horrible finishing. If you're Dortmund (or Bayern) that's okay, if you actually need your CF to put all the chances away he gets, he is horrible. But at Dortmund, everyone scores, and during the course of a game, there will usually be a pass so perfect even Lewandowski will score.
But I seldom see a player miss more sitters than he does, so yes, this was a decent game for him. Reus and Götze were horrible by their standards, but Lewandowski played pretty much like he always does.
Dortmund sure do miss Blasczy...kowski... Blaszcyko... Blazsc.. Blasch... Kuba was missing, and he'll inject another dimension to the Dortmund attack once he's back. Malaga will get creamed in Dortmund when Hummels and Kuba are back.
Thats interesting to know...and if he improves his finishing, Im sur ehe can take Dortmund to another level, since it appears that Dortmund are very good, but so many games they create to many chances but just doesnt score enough consistently, which is the most important.

Viva is exaggerating a bit. Lewandowski is definitely a decent finisher by bundesliga standards.

Re: Malaga vs BVB
ok I don't think you guys have seen Malaga away in CL this season. They will start Roque and hooof hoof. posession?? leave that to the home team
I can definitely see the keeping a clean sheet, they were effectively battered vs Porto but they survived and Porto were only able to score an offside goal
pressure is definately on Dortmund. malaga won't be holding the ball so dortmund can't play their game properly
I can honestly see a 1-0 away win for Malaga

Re: Malaga vs BVB
You can't park the bus against Dortmund. They'll overload and batter any team that tries so hard it's not even funny. Their forwards are among the best you can have at breaking down tight defenses. Dortmund tend to play with little emphasis on possession, but do not take that to mean they won't use a majority of possession to just batter the shit out of that opposing goal. Look what happened to Shaktar when they tried sitting deep.

I don't think this was during any significant break. But yeah, I'm not denying it's hilarious, I just don't think it's very unusual or rude either.
