PSG's Biggest Threats
Have to write an article on this and thought I'd get the opinions of some of you fellas.
Who can hurt our chances the most? Also how do you think they'll organise themselves against us? Particularly with Zlatan missing out.
I feel Zlatan has to be mentioned if they still have something to play for in the second leg. He's their talisman and he can certainly hurt us considering our defensive woes.
Their other attacking threats will definitely prove troublesome if they can expose the channels out wide. I assume they'll play with 3 attacking players, don't see them playing Pastore behind a front 3.
Lucas, Lavezzi and Menez likely to be their main threats.
Thiago Silva will definitely be a force in defence.
Finally, I'd highlight the aerial threat because tbh its one of the most likely ways they'll hurt us. Silva and Alex the obvious ones.

Re: PSG's Biggest Threats
I feel they have 4 players who match up very well with us, either through style of just quality.
Thiago Silva for obvious reason.
Matuidi in midfield. He has athleticism and skill, I could imagine him bothering Xavi or Iniesta depending on where he is deployed.
Lucas, Menez or Lavezzi, count them as one. Different qualities, but you add in our high line, inconsistent pressing and their sheer speed..
And then Alex, him at set peice, as a taker or in the box.

Re: PSG's Biggest Threats
Pastore has sometimes been deployed on the wing, iirc. I'd agree with Lucas, Lavezzi and Menez being the biggest threats, especially if we don't play a RW and let Alves be in charge of the entire wing, and on the left we have no good options as Adriano will be just recovering from injury, Abidal's first game should not be this high profile, and Montoya has never shined on the left.

Ibra's suspension reduced from 2 games to 1. He already served it against Valencia. He will play both legs against Barca.

UEFA doing the most this season so the Evil wins the CL and we don't... very unfair.
However, I'm not really scared Ibra playing or not.
His nil workrate and pathetic offside awareness might compensate his goal threat.

AWWWW YEAHHH
Seriously I'm ecstatic. Ibra equals less pressing, more reliance on the center (as opposed to the wings which is where psg can do some real damage) and long standing empirical evidence of flopping. Also a high likelihood he will see a red. Ibra

Re: PSG's Biggest Threats
Thanks for all your comments lads. Will be writing today.
I've chosen my main points: Thiago Silva, Blaise Matuidi, Attacking Outlets (Menez, Lavezzi, Lucas) and Set-Piece threat.
No Ibra. I agree with you two, won't offer a huge threat. Still, he's worth a brief mention.

Re: PSG's Biggest Threats
As much as I'm happy about Ibra and I think we'll do better with him in the side, you can never underestimate Ibra.
He could have a cracker and have a field day vs our defense.
Ibra is always a threat, and one we need to look after carefully.
