GOW: Trial of Archemedes- Chapter 28
Everywhere on blogs, forums and twitter, everyone's been complaining about this chapter for being too hard- to the point where Santa Monica stated on twitter that they'll release a patch for it.
And I see why people were complaining. This damn part nearly caused me to throw the game away. 2+ hours on this and I just can't beat it.
First time a game has made me give up. I might try again in a couple of days. Till then, Multiplayer it is.
My question is, has there ever been a part of a game so hard that it caused you to rage or, like me, give up on it completely?

- Spoiler:
- You have to go through 3 waves of attack with no checkpoint, no health supplies and fight countless of enemies in one go.

Demon Soul's is the hardest game i've ever played (even harder than Dark Soul's)
I did give up a few times only to come back later to defeat the bosses with or without help..
Still haven't picked up GOW though..

Diablo 3 Act 4 on Inferno difficulty was maddening... Utter madness. But like Le DNA, just take a break and go back.
and for the record: Demon Souls = amazing, and insanely hard.

Yeah I redboxed the game and got up to this part on normal but couldn't beat it, tbf I only gave it an hour or so of attempts and I didn't really "upgrade" the right abilities. It definitely needed to be toned down a little bit though. dem sirens

Key to to the game is being patient. Running like a headless chicken is the reason for all the whining.

Wow that video was intense, I have only played God of War demo's.. Maybe I'll pick up a full game soon.. Should I start from the beginning if I do?

Games are weird, i find if you take a break from trying to complete a combat scene or a puzzle and go back to it with a refreshed mind you complete it almost straight away
As for the rage or give up completely question.... i think that has happened to everyone but with me i usually struggle with puzzles and figuring out where to go next rather than combat.
For example in the old Zelda games i used to walk around temples for hours on end going nowhere because i couldn't figure out what you are supposed to do
But actual combat scenes come quite easily for me.

I found that the hard way. But that is true, best thing to do is remain calm and work out a strategy. That's how I finally overcame this level.

It's prolly best if you do tbh. The whole series is linked together and you gain a higher appreciation for the game. I regrettably only started from GOW3. But I'll complete the first 2 games in the near future.

I suffer the exact same thing, especially in this GOW. There were times I was stuck at puzzles running around cluelessly. Only to search it up on youtube and feeling like an idiot when I realize just how easy it was to figure it out lol.

Did the Water Temple dungeon when i was young, used a key for the wrong door. I reset the game and made the same mistake
Completed the game a year later lol
