Be it young talents or proven players... which players do you watch, hear about, and want to see them fail? You want them to play badly, not win trophies, miss sitters, whatever it is...

For me its Neymar.

Unless its a rival, why would you want them to fail? Like what do you get out of Neymar failing...I dont get that.

Because sometimes you don't like certain players, they are a rival, they bother you, you are sick of hearing about them.

Doesn't have to be hate, but it doesn't have to be rainbows and unicorns either.

I want neymar to fail because I don't think he's all that. I'm tired of a lot of Ppl overeating him and fir that reason I don't want to see success. Not that I hate him, he's just not my cup of tea.

I don't get anything out of it other than the satisfaction of swing a player I don't like do poorly.

Sure, but there is always a reason.

For example, Cristiano. Before he was at Madrid, I already disliked him just as much as I do now.

But thats because he acted like a d-bag, openly complained at teammates for no real reason and such things.

I am just trying to get to why really more than who. Why do you hate Lampard for example?

Well neymar isn't really random for me. As an Italy fan I have a negative disposition towards Brazilian players unless their class is so immense it outshines all other qualities (behind del piero ronaldinho is my favorite player). And my disposition isn't because I hate them but BC I view Brazil as a rival.

My dislike for Lampard stems mainly from dealings with rabid Chelsea fans around me. Basically, I transferred my footballing hate for them unto Fat Frank. Does Lampard do anything remotely d-bagish? Of course not, the man is a model professional. Do I care? Not one iota of care was given.

There is a footballing reason but that would lead to a lengthy discussion to which I feel like not having...
