Lucas Moura: "Ibra is arrogant"

"What I can say is that he is strong. Sometimes arrogant, he complains a lot and demands the ball often. He's a complicated player; he insults a lot. One thing is clear, when he yells you understand what he is saying regardless of the language."

While hardly news I'm surprised he would come out say it publicly.

Lucas Moura has claimed his comments slamming the personality of Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s were taken out of context.

The youngster had been quoted as saying that the Swede regularly insults his colleagues, but has now moved to emphasise his respect for the former AC Milan man.

"I gave an interview over the phone yesterday and ended up being misunderstood about what I said about Ibra," he told Globoesporte.

"I talked to [them] about how Ibra yells a lot, complains, curses ... but these are normal things for a striker, because everyone wants to win and score goals.

"It's his way, but he is a great player and is very important for the team. He treats me very well, he plays with me and talks with me. We get along very well."

Earth shattering news.

Everyone knows that Ibra is a dominant personality who demands perfection from those around him, however that's his persona as a player, it's what makes him as good as he is. Each of his former team mates have always spoken of his tendency to scream at his colleagues, however none have ever raised any serious objection to the practice.

part of me is thinking why on earth would you say this about a teammate, but I'm sure that this isn't news to Ibra. He has never claimed to be cute and cuddly. He's an asshole, a class player, and a bit of a bitch at times. Who's to say that he's not OK with others thinking of him in that light?

If Ibra is in a room, he's the big dog ffs. Lucas had to learn the hard way, don't be surprised if next time you see Lucas on the pitch he's a nervous wreck who curls up into a ball at half time and cries a little bit.
