What a game by Messi, he simply made defenders look like idiots. How he became so fast and agile lately? I actually nevers seen a quick player with great close control ability. Usually slow players have great close control ability and touch. but Messi is extraordinary

Just because he didn't score, it doesn't mean that he had a bad WC. He created chances after chances for Higuain ony for him to miss. And even against Germany, he was the only dangerous player for Argentina.

he was great against Nigeria and south korea from what I remember, after that point I remember being frustrated that he didn't show his best level (I really wanted messi to win that tournament)

Some of those records are absolutely insane, 73 goals in a club season, scoring at least one goal against all la liga teams in a row, 5 goals in 1 game in the CL, 91 goals in a calendar year, Barcelona's all time top goal scorer at the age of 24.

It's amazing that he's only 26 years old and he has already done all that.

It was difficult to break Getafe down considering we had one goal and the second came from a PK, but he looked a lot sharper maybe its because we haven't seen him for a while, or the fact he isn't battling his injury anymore.
