WTH someone gave you a negative for saying that man some people are crazy with that rep thing. Anyway that doesn't matter; I do agree though that he could and IMO SHOULD be loaned out again. He really has no purpose here.

i really dont understand why certain ppl get -rep no matter what...
Giancarlo, Sciacca, Brigate... its maddening really.
Anyway back on topic: Ganso & Cesc in the same team is unfair lol. that really isnt going to happen. IMO id take Ganso over Cesc for MILAN

People are negative repping me because they are blaming me for something that happened on this forum. The rep system has to go.
Yeah, I think Novara could be our new feeder club.

The club won't sell Thiago Silva when our ambition is to win the Champions League in the next few years. Selling Silva to Barcelona doesn't only severely handicap our progress but would potentially extend Barcelona's era to a whole new generation of players.
Relax guys, Silva didn't come to Milan to win one trophy then jump ship.

I had +30 a few days ago... Some Interista are giving us all -rep. Not that I care to much but now that I am in neg rep I can't give + rep to a good post...

I agree, all he does for the team is waste time by making people look for a club to loan him out to. He was given a professional contract and had a season with the senior team when eventually he was sent back to the Primavera as he was just no use for us...
Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Guys, relax. People have reported the deal much differently than the way Thiago actually said it. I expect him to come out with an interview in the next few days to set the record straight. Here is the same interview reported by a Milan site just to show another way it could be interpretative (and the way it was probably meant by Silva)
How is the 33 shirt gonna be retired after he's gone if he goes to Barca?
THIAGO SILVA reveals he rejected Barcelona for Milan stay.
The Brazilian had a fantastic season with Milan, establishing himself as one of the best central defenders in the world at the moment. His excellent performances haven’t gone unnoticed by Europe champs Barcelona.
Barca made a move for the player, but Silva now admits that he told them no because he wants to stay.
“I’ve been in contact with Barcelona; I told them that I feel connected to Milan and that I want to stay here,” he said. “If Barcelona really want me, then they first have to talk directly to Milan. I’m happy here at Milan.”
Thiago Silva returned to Fluminense after failing in Europe in 2006 and moved to Milan in 2009.
“It’s too early to return to Brazil, because I’m very close to the peak of my career. I hope that I can end my career at Fluminense. It’s my dream and I hope that I can achieve it,” the 26-year-old continued.
“I’ve talked with Seedorf and he wants to play in Brazil. I think he will go there after the next season.”
Thiago Silva also said that he wants his #33 shirt to be retired after he’s gone.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Berlusconi would be more likely to search for a new love after his previous fascination in Ronaldinho left.
Milan's not a selling club, every time someone such as Kaka or Shevchenko leaves they are sold for a massive fee after their last productive season. It's no surprise they struggle after they leave Milan because we generally sell them right on the verge of physical decline such as with Kaka's knee injuries when we no longer think they're worth the risk.
We're not going to sell a young central defender at their peak. I can see Pato bringing in one of the highest transfer fees post Financial Fair Play in seven years, however Thiago Silva I could only see departing in his 30s when he's still useful but after he's given us his best years and we're not bitter to see him leave for a big club, as when United sold on Stam.
If Barcelona and Milan are negotiating for Thiago it damn well better be Alcantara.

Bronzetti: "There is no way Silva is leaving Milan. Not only is he the best defender in the world, but Milan want to win Champions."
Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Bronzetti: "If Galliani wanted to sell Thiago Silva, then he would have done it last year, when he had a €30 million offer. Thiago Silva just renewed his contract, so there is no way that Milan would sell him."
Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Goal.com & footballitalia also "forgot" to mention the part where he turns them down, saying he wants to stay.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Paulo Tonietto (T. Silva's agent): "Everyone should calm down. The statements of Thiago have been distorted and misinterpreted by the press. Thiago is happy at Milan and just recently renewed his contract. If he had no intention of honoring his contract, he wouldn't have renewed till 2016. There is absolutely nothing. He is only thinking about the Copa America and winning the Champions League with Milan."
Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Did you expect anything less from the press? I guess I did overreact when I first heard what he supposedly "said".

Hugely overreacting on your part. We're not going to sell Silva. Monster bid? What do you mean? You get that from an interview with quotes distorted by the media? Thiago Silva rejected any such move, end of story.
He has a contract until 2016. There is no further discussion here.

If Silva is sold we can say goodbye to any chance at any title any time soon. He is a monster in defense, but I know he wont leave, he loves the club.
