If Ronaldo's work ethic and dedication rub off on Bale (who was already a workhorse) he could definitely make it to a similar level of play.

Yeah I agree. Personally I love the fact that some many of our guys have such great work ethic.

CR sets the pace and by all accounts it's pretty contagious so hopefully Bale can be his heir Proud

He might in terms of running down the wing with pace, however from the RW he can cut in and shoot and I doubt Ronaldo would ever swap his LW position.

I know people who do steroids... No player would sacrifice his career for those kind of odds.
It's not unnatural to put on muscle. Maybe if you have a growth hormone deficiency or anemia like Barcelona's weaklings... But they aren't proper athletes like Bale and CR.

Don't be naive. You may know people who use steroids, but you know nothing about them.

Lance Armstrong won Tour de France seven times doping testosterone, steroids, EPO and the likes, before his team mates blew the whistle.

Summer without official competition is easy time to dope up and the let it flush out before testing. No-one will transform like that in 3 months naturally.

The picture you're using is very deceiving though. He probably had just come out of the gym at that time so he was pumped up, that coupled with lighting makes it look like he is much more defined than he is naturally.

This is him around that same time period. Notice it's not as sunny and he probably didn't do any weight training.

I doubt bale is on steroids. There are many supplements out now with strict diet and training, shred off body fat and build muscle, esp fast twitch muscle. And playing for literally the biggest club in the world with the best trainers will get you there.

There are plenty of pictures on RM official sites with a time different of 0 or 1 day that shows that indeed the first pictures where for him after he got out of the gem. And no, I'm not gonna look for them because you don't deserve the effort, look it up yourself to quench your trolling needs.

Though I do feel sorry for if you don't know how intense training in the gem can make you looks vascular for a short term.
