An all purpose classic number 8.

Can do anything you need in the midfield area, links play, can shoot, can pass, works hard, can tackle and because of that its very easy to fit many different kind of midfielders around him.

Mourinho choose so many Portuguese players and left out one of the very best. Weird.

No...........he started at Sporting and was very loyal to them for many years, Porto is his 2nd club.

And he already plays for a big club.

I'm quite sure Johan meant bigger club in a bigger league. Stop making it bigger then it seems.

OT- I pretty much agree with Dani, classic 8, especially this part ''links play, can shoot, can pass, works hard, can tackle.'' I consider him a very good player, and would be an asset basically to pretty much any team.

I would wager that Porto would beat Man City right now, though yes I knew what you meant.

But there is no point going anywhere to sit on the bench.

Man Utd are another club im surprised didnt look at him.

Huge fan of him, one of the best all round midfielders in the world.

I have wanted him at Chelsea since his days at Lisbon.

Fantastic player but one I rarely watch. I want to watch more of him honestly.

Player I really really wanted at Tottenham in the summer, and I still really really want him next summer. Hope Levy can reunite Moutinho and AVB.
