Re: 2x yellow in 1 minute
he was stupid for the first yellow, should never have kicked the ball like that but the second one was lolworthy I bet the reff hadn't even finished writing his name on the card before he got too excited and gave him the second yellow
its like they are trying to prove something with these cards

Re: 2x yellow in 1 minute
Actually, if you get a yellow for blocking the ball... you need to walk away to the correct distance. I've seen a double yellow like that on a couple of other occasions. It's automatic if you don't listen. 99.9% of the players walk balk at least 70% of the way though lol. Nobody just stands right in front of the ball even after getting a yellow.
Di maria was just moronic. Ref was not at fault.

Re: 2x yellow in 1 minute
but the thing is the reff didn't point to his whistle which would indicate that a wall needs to be put up
I have seen referees push players from the ball to get them away not stand behind and reach for cards. besides it wasn't timewssting either since depor were already out of it so I don't understand the rush
either the reff doesn't know the rules properly or he did it by purpose

Once he got the first yellow that meant that the ref had stopped play and the wall was going up. It's not a reset after that...
And the ref would have admonished him if he were not still standing right on top of the ball lol. The way he did it, he was daring the ref to card him again.
Just complete stupidity.

Re: 2x yellow in 1 minute
so
this referee who sent off ramos and who is the same guy which sent off nearly our whole bench vs villarreal has informed the referee comitte of his desire to step down before the end of the season for "professional" reasons
apparently he got told off by the referee technical comitte for not giving Mou a red against rayo.vallecano (the game ramos was sent off in) and is thought to have been the last drop. this guy is the referee who has sent off Mou the most times. astalavista brah we won't miss you
one gone.........the rest to go
