As far as the rest of your dialogue... most every French player dreams of Barca or Madrid. That's just how it is here. You view these two clubs as the top of the football world. The other thing is that, other than a very small few, it's all about the money and prestige for players... especially ones that have already started a mercenary career.

Point is Marotta has absolutely zero say if the release clauses are met... he has no choice. Only thing here is that Madrid is allegedly offering a player in return as opposed to cash. That would require Juve to agree. But if Madrid laid down the 50 mil for both and both wanted to come to Madrid, Juve could do absolutely nothing about it.

Yeah I understand about release clauses, I was laughing at the idea one of Benz or Higuain would be worth Vidal + Pogba, and that anybody in the right frame of mind would accept it.

Well, the market value of both Benz and Higuain is around 40 mil. So i can understand an offer of one of them + 10 mil cash to cover 50 mil. Juve do need strikers and this would solve it. Llorente is not the answer imo... He's basically Giroud.

I'm willing to give Llorente a shot now he's surrounded by solid players. But I still want a main man to lead the line in Europe. Vidal's about to be locked up to a new contract until 2018, Pogba is being offered a new contract because he has a low(ish) release clause.

Marotta's doing his best to lock them down. He doesn't like selling players and I think if he got rid of both Vidal and Pogba he would be hunted in Turin.

Why are Juventus powerless in selling? Vidal is adamant in staying in Turin with a contract till 2018 while Pogba is being offered a new contract with a large release clause. Agnelli handles these matters alongside Mazzia and Nedved, not Marotta who holds little power within the Juve hierarchy. Juventus aren't a selling club. Thats Milan lol.

And please lets not compare Giroud to Llorente. G-rude is a solid striker yet Llorente is far more complete, clutch and can carry a team like he has for Athletic half his career.

Marotta may not have a choice but the players do. If Vidal doesn't want to leave and the release clause is met it doesn't matter, he's still under contract at Juventus and it would be his decision and same goes for Pogba

Vidal and Pogba have both openly spoken highly of Juventus. Pogba even said Juventus are the reason he's playing for France now. And he wants to be better than Viera.

Right now there is a release clause. However, chances are both players will be signed to new deals before the season is over. Meaning mega money or no sale. And either way there's a 0% chance Juve would let both players go.

Only scenario I see happening is Vidal goes for major money, and we promote Pogba to the first team whilst using Vidals money on a striker and possible Verratti.

You're all making it seem so easy to buy from Juve.


EDIT: Most likely scenario by far is neither player leaves btw.

As fans it's only normal to expect positive outcome since we need quality players. If you go on Juventus section right now, you will see them posting fantasy formations with Ibra just because they "dream" he will move there "on a cheap". Fans will be fans, stop pointing fingers at others because they are more attractive and have more buying powers.
