Some lads from near me who play for a Sunday league team were out drinking last night in the Sunderland area.

Our ex manager Peter Reid was out also after attending our match.

Carrying on after a few pints they asked him if he would like to play for their team, as a joke really not thinking anything would happen.

But this morning he turned up
