You could say that about literally any long distance goal including Gerrard's. The point is that he DID score and he clearly meant to do so. Not sure what your point is tbh.

I take it you haven't watched much of Gerrard. He scores those types of goals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and twice on Sundays.
