World Cup in Handball

Any1 following it !? It's held in Spain this year

Only watch it during the Olympics, it's a great spectator sport though but since I don't play it myself I'm not exactly itching to follow it.

It is extremely popular in Denmark, but I only watch it when I can't find anything else, we're probably also favourites together with France and Croatia

The Handball World Cup 2015 in Qatar (money called, pt1) is up and running, and Germany (who shouldn't actually be there, but got some dubious wild card - after all, there is a lot of money to be made in Germany with handball, aka money called, pt2 *) look like they want to surprise everybody and just managed to reach the quarter final due to some extraordinary world class goalkeeping by Carsten Lichtlein.

Qatar on the other hand reached the quarter final due to some abysmal refereeing against Austria (aka money called, pt3, I guess), and so the upcoming match Qatar (aka world selection - in handball it is easy to buy yourself a national team as there are no restrictions about eligibility for an NT as in football) vs Germany should be interesting...

Croatia - Poland
Qatar - Germany
Denmark - Spain
Slovenia - France

*) Germany in handball is pretty similar to England in football - highly profitable "Best league in the world", but the national team suffers due to the fact that the German clubs only buy the best players from all countries but forget that it might be wise to develop German youngsters.
