Most anticipated game ?
Re: Games you look forward to in 2013 ?
You shouldn't be making comments like that when you think is that the GTA IV engine was innovative and ahead of its time
Then there's the fact that THQ has gone bust just this past month because of how the console industry works. Are you trying to make yourself look stupid on purpose? Saying something like that is like saying Twilight is saving the Book industry. What's more accurate is that Consoles are to the gaming industry what Record Labels are to the music industry.
Consoles have in fact done the opposite to what you claim and prevented smaller developers from staking a foothold in the industry because there's now only a room for massive franchises and not new IP. (Take Homefront, one of THQ's games, it has an awesome multiplayer but the game sold less than Medal of Honour even because just like every preteen girl lining up for Twilight instead of a book that's actually good, every preteen boy lined up for CoD)
Consoles have turned the gaming industry into a Hollywood-like industry and the only thing stopping another breakdown like the E.T. fiasco is the fact that videogaming is so entrenched in culture now.

Re: Games you look forward to in 2013 ?
I will probably only buy GTA this year. I have so many games I haven't even gotten around to playing that I got for Christmas this year and last
I actually had so much free time over the holiday break and I just watched TV shows, read books, and replayed Dragon Age: Origins (which I had already beaten twice ).

If you want multi-player for the best experience you need a PC , but if you want FIFA , burn your PC because it has to be the weakest community full of mostly noobs
Consoles might have held back the advancement in graphics and stuff ... but don't people realize that Piracy on the PC is higher that on the consoles , wich doesn't benefit the developers at all . And Homefronts multiplayer was just as bad as COD's , both sucked ...

It takes about 20 to 50mil + another 10 for marketing to make an AAA game. You cant get your money back by just developing to PC because of the sheer amount of people who pirate. Thats why they tend to make a game to consoles in order to profit.
PC is for pros anyway and consoles targeted for casual gamers.

What do you expect from a forum that has 6 votes for GTA and 0 for Watch Dogs?

Dat PC butthurt on full show again
Anyway whats wrong with that? Watch Dogs has shown nothing apart from pretty GFX and a short snippet of gameplay which proves nothing and peeps know what they are getting from a GTA title.....
Would not surprise me in the slightest if Watchdogs is the next overhyped title which is filled with disappointment, it is made by Ubisoft after all
Plus i'm not convinced it will be released this year anyway.

I really can't wait for Bioshock Infinite, it looks like it's going to be amazing. This other game, "remember me" looks interesting, too.

Yep can't wait for it, here is the recommended system for the game, it's quite demanding.
OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit
Processor: Quad Core Processor
Memory: 4 GB
Hard Drive: 30 GB free
Video Card: DirectX11 Compatible, AMD Radeon HD 6950 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
Video Card Memory: 1024 MB

You do realize that the current console gpu's are equivalent to an nVidia 9800 and have 256mb of VRAM? The X360 is also DirectX 9.0c. The console version of the game will be quite gimped
Those aren't demanding requirements at all anyways, a PC with those specs can be built for $500. (a 560 is $170, and prices for decent quads are $180+)

Re: Games you look forward to in 2013 ?
So PC gamers go by recommended? Lol.
I don't think so. Well at least the people I know that love to PC game.
Besides I'm not sure if these games just seem more eye orgasmic or what. But out of EVERY GAME I have ever played on both Xbox 360 and PS3 (minus sports games) they have looked great/amazing on my TV.
Whether its Arkham City, Uncharted, Gears of War, Infamous, etc they all looked great but to me personally I prefer gameplay>gfx
Like I said just because a tree will have a better shadow, lightposts seem more realistic, or if something blows up I will see more debri doesn't seem at all like a gamechanger imo
And that card you said costs 180. A basic new Xbox is what 199...

It's not like GFX is the priority of pc gamers, Rage for example was a very nicely designed game but i barely played it, i appreciate games with nice look but without gameplay it worths nothing to me.
Personally i feel i can connect better with games that gives importance to realistic details, even if they are small and unnoticeable.

Re: Games you look forward to in 2013 ?
Skyrim that's not held back by console limitations:
Not a gamechanger eh?
Anyways, recommended settings =/= minimal required. If you don't care about graphics and just want gameplay then a $350 budget PC will play it at the same graphics as the console version. Unless it's a bad port but the 64-bit and DX11 recommended gives hope that they didn't skimp on the PC version.

Please don't drive this into a console vs pc bitch thread... it's almost as tedious as the messi vs ronaldo and other nonsense threads.
