Re: Arsenal 7-3 Newcastle
We will go through 2-3 more slumps before the season ends. It won't be an Arsenal season if we don't

Is Wilshere one of the motor of Arsenal progress?

Yea, for sure. Running the game for us in the past few weeks. Specially with Diaby out, we have no one else who can take the ball from deep and push forward

I see. Unfortunarely for you and for France, Daby being out will not end. This player has had his career ruined by injuries and I doubt he will find fitness one day.
He is made of glass, litterally.

Yeah Diaby is done. But i like the overall midfield talent in France. First time in a while where i can honestly see several overlapping generations of very good talent.
Btw, is Benzia going with France or Algeria?

Really?I think you guys miss a good AM.France has good enough CMs and DMs,but you lot seem to be the only top team that doesn't have one.sportsczy wrote:Yeah Diaby is done. He has not made a final decision but according to what he said, he is going with France if he can make the team.

Re: Arsenal 7-3 Newcastle
Watched the match in Emirates. I thought Arsenal deserved the victory (no shit) but up until 3-3 it could have gone either way, but Newcastle choked big time after Podolski's goal. I found it ridiculous how many times they gave the ball away in dangerous position. Schoolboy stuff.
To be perfectly honest, I wasn't impressed by Arsenal either, apart from Walcott who got into very good positions and his finishing was class today - still guilty of being a bit selfish at times and poor decision making during build-up plays. Wilshere also had a good match, he's a fan favourite but he plays far too many lateral balls and not many forward passes for my liking. But he's got the right attributes, very strong for his size, fantastic passing, determination, decision-making, and boy, he is pretty quick for a midfielder. Overall he barely put a foot wrong all match.
Demba Ba is a freaking beast. I'd barely watched him up until today, but the guy has some strength to him and very good with his feet. For €10 million he's an absolute bargain, I'd say snatch the guy asap.

I agree with juveman, RED and dannyjr.
This was an entertaining game, but this is also a very good example of when entertainment and quality football are not synonymous. Poor ball retention and poor defending combined with some good individual performances by some forwards led to this inevitable goal-feast between two sides that, for various reasons, are incapable of playing football that is tactically coherent.

Pretty much summed up most of the EPL games this season that end up 4-3, 6-5, etc.Forza Rossoneri wrote:I agree with juveman, RED and dannyjr.

We should learn to score more own goals like Evans - that is quality defending right there
Of course, like today, RVP has to save your team's ass again and again. Without him, you'd be below us in the table. Your best player isn't even your own and now you need Walcott too? typical
Sir Whiskeydick and United can shove off and continue screaming at referees

Arsenal is the place for him tbh. Would hate to see him off at Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Man City etc. when there is no place for him. Arsenal always has a place for Walcott.

Re: Arsenal 7-3 Newcastle
Why Juventus want to go for Llorente when Ba's available for €10 million is beyond my understanding.

Uhh because Llorente is a better player, who has said that he wants to leave and is available for 7-8 million right now and on a free this summer.danyjr wrote:Why Juventus want to go for Llorente when Ba's available for €10 million is beyond my understanding.
