In any case, Benteke has looked to justify his selection over Bent in recent weeks. He's been absolutely beastly and a more complete forward than Bent ever was.

He's been great from the moment Villa signed him to be fair . I really don't understand why people still want Bent to be played ahead of him . Benteke contributes far more than what Bent would bring to the table to be honest!

But to be honest , Liverpool has been shaky whenever they've had to play against a physical presence up top. Just look against West Ham for example, Carlton Cole had an excellent game too. The 2 CBs struggled to contain him in that game and the same can be said about Yesterday too!

I think there will be a ridiculous EPL inflated price for Benteke so it'd be to late for Spurs to pick him up without more seasoning. I'm still holding out hope for the Osvaldo deal to go through. I see him getting picked up by one of the richer clubs and then them loaning him out, probably right back to Villa.
