Prediction and thoughts ?

rooney will score, rvp will not but he will assist one

as many expect the game will have lots of goals
i believe city will take advantage in the scoreline but the comeback kings will not give up and in the late minutes will score two and win it

2-3, 3-4 for united

I think it'll be a cagey affair, don't really see United really pushing that hard to win it, they'll be trying alot harder to not lose.

1-1 with Utd nicking a late one.

Is it just me or this will be a goalfest

I hope for a memorable game between the two . Don't necessarily fancy any of the two ,but i'll be rooting for goals .

City to get wrecked. Looked shaky all season and only due to divine intervention are they still undefeated

Silva is out apparently and despite him not being as dominant recently when he doesn't play City's midfield looks clueless.

Therefore i expect Roonay to run the show and RVP to score the goals in a 3-1 win.

It's at the Eithad....Citeh will win comfortably. United's defense is awful especially away from home.

Oh it's at the Etihad? 2-2 draw then.

are midfield is decimated, carrick, fletcher, scholes is likely are midfield to expect sunday with Anderson, Cleverley out (are best midfielders this season) and Kagawa questionable. I expect YAYA to just run over us in the middle of the park.....if we are lucky Kagawa and Vidic can make a return for the derby, until then, I think we are underdogs given are injuries and being away.

are only chance is City play with the heartless efforts they showed in CL, but that's unlikely given the occasion

50/50 imo. Form counts for nothing when it comes to a local derby. Last season we lost back to back to blackburn and newcastle, then we went to the etihad and beat city.

Both teams are out of form atm. Looks likely that it will be a draw or a bit of individual magic will win it. Hopefull from rooney or rvp for united.
