My, Boro have taken quite a nosedive since the turn of the year after a great first few months. Still around the promotion places but in dire form. 1 win in their last 9 League games and 21st in the Form Table. If we don't beat them this Wednesday, we're even more shit than I thought we were.

Call me what you'd like but I honestly hope Middlesbrough dump us out of this competition on Wednesday. We can't sustain all these fixtures with this bare thin squad, several more Europa League matches still to come, and Top 4 being in serious doubt - and we're not gonna win it anyway. A trip to Old Trafford awaits the winner and it would just give Fergie another chance to ram one up Benitez's fat arse (yet again) anyway. Not to mention the implications a loss could have on the waiter's immediate future...

Shame. From looking like genuine title contenders and having a chance to win several of 7 possible trophies to add to the club's cabinet at the start of the season, to rooting for our own team to be dumped out of every competition going.
