Wich dead-wood would you keep?
after seeing Sepi's post about their wages, it really made me realise that we wont be able to sell them all..
so, ultimately, wich of those "dead-woods" would you keep and give another chance to prove their worth in the squad, and be completly part of the team next season?
i for one would give another chance to Cole.
imho, i think he hasnt been given a fair chance this season (remember red card, injuries......).
and his only pb was that not once in this season he has been 100% fit.
but you just dont loose all your abilities like that.
(remember at the 2010 World Cup when every english fans were calling for him to start?he was seen as England savior back then lol).
and why not try to re-negociate his contract, and maybe if he really wants to be part of the team he would accecpt to reduce his wages a little bit. that would be one hell of a comitment wouldnt it
so who would you keep?

Re: Wich dead-wood would you keep?
Soto got an extension so I'd keep him for another year and sell the rest.
This is assuming we sign a few players to improve the overall quality in the squad,

Re: Wich dead-wood would you keep?
Why isnt there an option no one?
I dont think any of them listed is good enough for us so would be happy all of them leave. But if i have to pick one it will be Cole simply because i dont think he can be moved due to his wages so its better to give him a chance rather than let him rot on the reserves.

every LFC fan would be happy to see all of them leave.
but again i dont thinks that will be the case unfortunatly,
so, made the poll to see who would upset you the least if ever he stayed

In that case i would be least upset if Insua stays. He would be a decent 2nd choice LB and is also on low wages. But unfortunately he is the least likely to stay since his contract is over.

actually im not even sure anymore that his contract has ended.
i mean, this is what most of us thought, but ive seen people on some forums starting to wonder if his contract is indeed ending now as first thought.
cause that would mean he wouldnt be part of our squad (and some other team would have snapped him for free) when came 30 June, but hes still listed in the squad on .tv...
maybe he had a longer contract..

Re: Wich dead-wood would you keep?
IMO they should all start.
Cole could have an amazing season or he could flop again, you'll never know.

I want all of them to leave. If you insist on keeping one, I would pick Cole. Shocking, I know. But was (or perhaps still is) a talented player and I'm yet to get over him.

I'd keep both insua and n'gog they're both young and they kinda have potential, they could be good backups

more chances of him one day turning good in the slower Serie A,
so good move for him if it happens.
