Mr Nick09 wrote:sure mate, cool story

I watched every single game of Malaga's in La Liga and can think of maybe 5 games off the top of my head where I thought wow this kid has something, the rest were average and sometimes that's being nice.

In the Champions League, two games come to mind where I thought he was exceptional, against Zenit and Porto, the rest not overly impressive tbh.

Last season he was better, this season he has declined a bit for whatever reason.

I don't see how he would fit into Madrid at all, he isn't a creative player, not at all, all the burden there in Malaga fell to Joaquin, and without him they struggled a lot.

Ozil while having a poor season still shat all over Isco, was still one of the best creative players in the league, which is what we need out of our AM's.

Isco seems to prefer City:

Isco, 21, was signed by Pellegrini from Valencia in 2011 and wants to play under the Chilean again next season.

He said: "He's been my footballing father and I know that he likes me. Of course I'd like to continue with him."

"It's a very important decision for me and I don't want to get it wrong," Isco said.

"I want to play, wherever it is, and that's the most important thing. I don't want to regret it after not getting many minutes.

"I'm not closing my door to anyone but my priority is to play and I don't want to be on the bench. We'll see what happens in the summer."

Madrid being rejected by Nerman and Isco. Proud In the same transfer window. Proud

He's following Pellegrini. Really think he'd be worried about playing time under Pellegrini?

This quote by Isco is also interesting, and maybe even a revelation;
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] wrote:The midfielder even told reporters at Spain's Under-21 headquarters in Madrid: "I still need to work on my English though."

He was easily the best Malaga player this season, and it isn't particularly up for debate.

Demichellis was great - but he only the main part of an organized defensive unit. Isco - individually had much more responsibility and much less consistent help.

Indubitable. Can you imagine him with a better supporting cast?

Florentina Perez was on radio last night saying Isco is a great player but Real already have many players in his role (Ozil, Modric, Kaka).

I'm not particularly happy to see Pelle and Isco leave - but I'm excited to see what they can do.

I am not a big fan of Malagas fullbacks.

oh and how could I have forgotten malagas most important player toulalan. without him malaga would have conceded alot more. besides isco has gone like 11 games without scoring or assisting. I wouldn't exactly call that carrying them

isco is great but he isnt carrying them on his shoulders imho

Hala....Toulalon missed half the season. I'm a big fan of Gamez and Monreal - and even Atunes, so I have to disagree.

imagine where they would have been if Toulalan was available all season

Gamez is slow to react and I have noticed he leaves alot of space between himself and demichelis

Atunes was a decent replacement fir Nacho but I dont particularly think he is any good. Didn't Pelle put Elisue there these past few games?

Ozil will be the only player most likely. Modric is a CM and Kaka will be leaving. Di Maria seems to be out of favour, which means Isco would play on the right if we signed him.

I think Ancelotti maybe be a factor in Kaka staying.

Kaka's past it and I'm sure even Ancelotti knows that. Ozil's younger and I doubt Kaka would play ahead of him.

Forget Bale, hopefully we get Isco.

Wouldn't mind Illlaramendi either for DM. Spanish technical players.

come on, theres no comparison here. jese is a good player but isco is a great player whos already established himself at the club level, national level, and in euorpean competition.

Yes, but Isco plays in a position in which we are set for the next 8 years and he exploded at 20, Jese's age now.
