modric has played more as CM than a CAM for madrid, i dont think he is a factor in isco's supposed playing time.

if isco is signed it would be 3 players rotating in 2 spots. modric and kaka have nothing to do with isco tbh.

it will either be:

ronaldo--isco--ozil or,
ronaldo--ozil--di maria or,
ronaldo--isco--di maria

Modric is only playing CAM because of Khedira/Alonso. Hopefully he'll play CM next season.

xabi untouchable lol. the club doesnt want to talk renovation with xabi at this point, so we will see what happens with him in the summer.

as for kaka, he is only there because we have tried too get too much money for him.

That could depend on whether we buy some Spanish players this Summer. Also if the new coach drops him, then I don't think there will be anything. If it's Mourinho, then it's more controversial.

he is untouchable from mourinho point of view. Let's not forget that he has been playing with Khedira for more than 2 seasons now. He is extremely reliable, not untouchable, that's not true. it's time we turn the page and drop him off the 1st XI anyway.

rumours are he wants to leave anyway and retire someplace else, there havent been any contract talks either

anyway, he is better than modric anyway in my opinion and he seems to be able to pass better under pressure nowadays aswell. but you're right, spanish media will turn it to world war 3 like they did with ramos and iker when they got benched

xabi is finished and hasnt been influencing our game in ages. Khedira has become better than Xabi for crying outloud. It's time we dump his arse someplace and move on.

madrid have opted not to offer xabi another contract. his current deal ends in 2014. its unlikely that madrid will offer him more than 1 extra year. i doubt xabi will take just 1 more year as he will probably have better offers.

so he may not even be on the team let alone be in competition for a starting spot.

also considering the fact that its likely madrid will have a new manager we cant just assume that xabi will be as vital to the team as he was for mourinho.

another year older, another year of slowing down. hes going to have to accept that he may not be the main midfielder next season. so no, he is far from untouchable.

I watched every single game of Malaga's in La Liga and can think of maybe 5 games off the top of my head where I thought wow this kid has something, the rest were average and sometimes that's being nice.

In the Champions League, two games come to mind where I thought he was exceptional, against Zenit and Porto, the rest not overly impressive tbh.

Last season he was better, this season he has declined a bit for whatever reason.

I don't see how he would fit into Madrid at all, he isn't a creative player, not at all, all the burden there in Malaga fell to Joaquin, and without him they struggled a lot.

Ozil while having a poor season still shat all over Isco, was still one of the best creative players in the league, which is what we need out of our AM's.
