this kid is by far one of my favorite performers this season. So great to watch, monstrous close control, does have something of Iniesta in his way to wave off 2 or 3 defenders at the same time. Not making a direct comparison of course, but he is a goddam brilliant dribbler

Watching what Pellegrini has done to him in a matter of months....amazing. And I have to bring up Portillo as well , themtwonof them have been dominant when they're ready.

He's actually from Malaga.

I don't know whether he left for money or not. At the time that he left he was getting very little playing time (was behind Mata) and that's something I believe he was promised.

He makes 400,000 euros a year which really isn't exorbitant compared to what other youngsters are paid.

Liverpool however do. Gerrard's getting on a bit and Liverpool need a modern technical AM.
