Who should replace Menezes?
Who should replace Mano at Brazil?
Scolari? Muricy? Pep? Who should lead Brazil into their home world cup - and who can they get with such short notice?

Man Pep would be awesome for Brazil but I don't think he is interested in NT football at the moment.
They should get Bielsa when he eventually gets sacked

Neymar was already playing false 9.I dont want Pep though,we dont have players to do what Xavi and Busquets do.
Tite,Corinthians's coach will probably get the job.He won the Brazilian league,Copa sul americana(SA Europa League), the libertadores (SA CL) and now we will see if he wins the CWC.So yeah, pretty goat coach.
It will only be revealed in January because Tite wants to play the CWC in peace

Re: Who should replace Mano at Brazil?
If Brazil get Scolari or Tite it would represent a 100% change in style with only 1.5 years to go, which in NT criteria is not that much. Also it means that Brazil will not play beautiful football in their own turf - it will actually be quite ugly. Can they pull it off?
If you're gonna go that way, why not pry away Mourinho from Real? At least try?

Re: Who should replace Mano at Brazil?
I thought Mano's playing style was pretty good myself at least in his final few months.
Scolari plays good football too i don't know what this Tite guy is like but if he is anything like Scolari then how is that ugly?
As you can see i'm pretty much a noob when it comes to South American football

No foreign coach, stop with the foreign coach jokes, its stupid, played out and not even close to being a real life decision to CFB officials.
The list is down to.. Scolari, Muricybol, and Tite...
Whoever it is, will be an upgrade to Mano's constant autism

Re: Who should replace Mano at Brazil?
I think Scolari tries to play attractive football, Tite in the other hand only cares about winning tactics, and it has worked,he won pretty much every possible trophy bar CWC.His team works hard as hell and play a lot like Mou's Inter.I have no idea what lineup Tite will use.Hulk wont start, thats for sure.

Can people stop calling The Ronaldo fat? I'm all for bashing voluntarily fat people but he has a pretty serious metabolic condition which ended his career.

Yeah Ronaldo is participating in a reality tv show akin to the Biggest Loser where everyone competes to lose the most amount of weight.

Not judging, but why only national coaches?

Brazil will never have a foreign coach! Muricy would be my bet and the best option we have if we want a attacking and attractive system.

cuz there aren't many coaches outside of Mourinho that are foreign that can cope with leading the Brazilian NT. Never needed a foreign coach, never will.. we have more than enough Brazilian based coaches to lead this team to another world cup trophy.

Re: Who should replace Mano at Brazil?
A journalist from Lance, the second most reliable sport newspaper here in brazil said he called a Catalan very close to pep and told him that the brazil job is open.13 minutes later he called back saying that "this was the only nt he would coach and he would start tomorrow if he could".Let's see what happens. Edit: this journalist is apparently the owner of the newspaper

Re: Who should replace Mano at Brazil?
Dunno tbh. Muricy, Scolari and Tite are the top contenders.
Muricy's tactics revolve around defending, scoring from set pieces, playing long balls and stuff like that. While he surely can make the team better at defending, he's mediocre offensively. Watch any Santos' match and you will see that their main offensive strategy is simply to pass the ball to Nerman as often as they can.
Scolari is a reactive coach too. Didn't do anything of notice since Portugal's Euro campaign. I'd still pick him ahead of Muricy though.
Tite is probably the best tactician of them all. His team plays a very well organized 4231 (predominantly) with high pressing and little space between the lines. It took him some time to get the team working, so I don't know if he could reproduce his feats in an environment such as the international one.
