Di Maria has better vision? I highly doubt that.

Anyway, the biggest difference between them isnt these attributes. Its the difference in footballing I.Q, awareness of time and space and decision making.

Ribery has a pretty big edge in all of these.

Thats because Ribery has matured imo...Di Maria is still young however.

Sorry, but di Maria has basically done nothing but lose possession every time I have watched him for the past months.

Ribéry isn't as fast as he used to be anymore, he's still pretty pacey, but I guess di Maria is faster nowadays. Everything else, though, Franck edges. And it's not even that close.

Ribery is literally better at EVERYTHING technically. Di Maria has a higher top speed and may be stronger. Thats it.

Most of the games Ribery plays are a complete destruction of random Bundesliga minnows.

Di Maria is hit or miss but is playing in a more competitive and generally stronger league.

Ribery may be more consistent and has better decision making but remember, he's much older than Di Maria, and I fully expect Di Maria to be better than he ever was in the future.

Albi my soul mate, anyways Ribery gets easily marked out of games and the games i have watched him he has been completely useless. I mean Lustig took him to the cleaners last time they met.

DiMaria has a tendency of losing the ball when he gets pressured, but what do you expect he doesn't have anyone to pass to, he could have had but the guy moved to another country sadly and is playing like he has been a world star forever. If only DiMaria had him on his side #saveusCarvajal

You know if someone asked me a year or two ago I would have said Franck Ribery without a doubt and seconds hesitation. Yet I've noticed every single time he comes against a fullback who can actually read the opponent and defend, Ribery always tend to disappear as this mainly has to do with his somewhat predictable repertoire of moves and lack of guile when it comes to beating his man. He would trump Di Maria in his shots and crosses but when it comes to the over all package I'd take Di Maria over him.

Why? Di Maria is quite unpredictable in his trickery and has shown great improvement in linking up with his team mates. His final ball is also one of the best in the world from a wide player and you will never see him stop working for his team. He is just the more consistent and effective player at the end of the day.
