Charlie Austin

Hi, I am new to posting on this forum i have been a long time reader but this is my first post.
I was just wondering about Charlie Austin looking at his stats they are dam good and the guy is only 23, why isnt any club after him it seem kinda strange to me.
If anyone has seen him is he any good?
Just go look up his stats some where

Maybe because he plays in the Championship. Trust me man, don't fall for the hype on these guys that play in the second division especially in a country where players technical ability is equivalent to that of a snail.

He isn't exactly playing against Nesta and Maldini or any top notch defender for that matter. Like I said padding stats in second division in any country isn't worth much.

He's scoring a lot with his head and from short distances. Not like he's taking everyone one on and scoring wonder goals every week. He's not particularly skillful, and has movement good enough to fool most Championship defenders which isn't saying much.

He'll probably end up at a lower end club in the Premier League.

He looks like a decent player but top PL clubs are usually cautious of getting players like that. We are apparently scouting him but i don't know if it will carry on. His finishing looks quite good though.

Might end up at somewhere like Reading

i think its similar to the case of Gary Hooper, the english forward at celtic. He bangs them in for fun in Scotland but for some reason there hasn't been a lot of interest in him this side of the border.
