The Captaincy Issue

Robben, Neuer and Schweinsteiger have proven to be better captains on the pitch.

The way Robben led the lads a couple of days ago was nothing short of surprising and we all know of Neuer's desire to win - dribbling two Leverkusen players and even Schweinsteiger seems a better influence.

I feel that Lahm has been more prone to defensive positioning mistakes under the pressure of trying to lead by example than before - on the left where he can cut inside it's more apparent - where else could these stellungsfehler's be coming from? This is Lahm we're talking about here...

Well, that I'd be voting for Manuel Neuer as Captain both for Bayern and Germany isn't a secret...

I think Schweinsteiger should get the armband. He ius the leader already, just look at the Champions League semis and finals before the PKs, he was leading his troops. Schweinsteiger would only get better with his leadership if he was given the armband too.

Neuer is our captain, enough said...
