Re: Juventus - shakhtar thread
I don't understand why we don't impose our game in the CL, it's like Juve are saying before the game they can't play possession and will accept to be on the back foot.
Barzagli lately has been woeful at keeping the ball but thank god we scored so quickly after they did. It's time Juventus grabbed the game we seem to need to be behind on goals before we improve the tempo.
Grazie Pirlo and Bon.

C'mon Juve!
idk y Matri started...He did score vs Roma but his technique isn't as good as Quags....
Giovinco should come on later on to run at the defenders when they get tired...

Very poor performance. Why did we start with Matri anyways? He is out of form for a year now, missed a sitter and he is just diving every time he gets inside the area

Not even close to good enough, instead of going into a long drawn out speech i'll just say the whole overall play was not nearly good enough. Yeah shakhtar are a very good team but in Turin we should have been 10x more imposing.

Re: Juventus - shakhtar thread
Juve were sh*t in the first half! It seemed to me like Shaktar were playing at home and we were away...I think this team needs to gain experience from the champions league before they can be considered as realistic winners! I think Conte is really being missed on the touchline as we are struggling to find that extra gear when we are being pushed back! Apart from that we were outplayed by a better team today and deserved to lose, the fact that we got a draw was more down to Shaktar not taking there chances! I think qualification for us from this group just became very very difficult as Shaktar will be clear favourites to beat us when we go to Ukraine! From what I have seen Shaktar should be favourites to win the group!

Re: Juventus - shakhtar thread
I dont get all the hatred for Matri.
Yeah he blew that one chance from Giovinco badly, but other than that, he worked hard and made some runs to get himself into scoring chances.
Vucinic played like crap.... all he did was give the ball away and then pout and not hustle... he played with zero effort.... at least Matri was giving effort
and then once Matri came out for Quagliarella, and it was him and Gio up top, the chances ended.
so yeah, Matri wasnt great by any means.... but to me, he was our best striker vs Shakhtar easily.... I think they took him off 10-15 minutes too early and he deserved a longer run out there

We were disgusting and tired I'll not judge the team on 2 matches ... concentrate on next match and Matri no words

Re: Juventus - shakhtar thread
Okay, i thinj Shakhtar played great, but were giving them a little too much credit. They scored thd first goal, then we scored, and then for the next 20 minutes of ths first half it was back and forth and they looked more dangerous than us and we looked well below par. Then the 2nd half started though and the game changed. Shakhtar sat back and played on the counterattack, and we dominated, we just couldnt put away our chances They only had a few chances on goal in the second half, and they all came around the 85th minute when we looked exhausted and frustrated. Shakhtar were very good, and i think if they played that way they could beat Chelsea, but i still thoight we were the better team. Only slightly though.
