Currently it's De Rossi/Vidal Pirlo Marchisio vs Iniesta Busquets Xavi, I prefer Italy's midfield to be honest.

Also we had that draw in group stages, the difference is not 4 goals... I agree with spain's midfield being the best in the world because of their results both on club and nt level, but italy's definetly worth mentioning (2nd place for sure)..

Also milan's with (Seedorf Gattuso Pirlo) is affraid

The best trio now would be iniesta, marchisio+ scholes/xavi/pirlo as regista in my opinion...

LOL, I was going to say the same thing. Italy's midfield has had there shot at outplaying Spain's a couple times in big tournaments and it just hasn't happened.

There just flat out not as good. There great players but Spain's midfield has won multiple club championships and has won the last three big international tournaments not to mention setting the record for most games unbeaten in a row.

I just don't know how people could still believe there is a better midfield then Spains especially one that just went head to head and got demolished. Not to mention Spain has like 3 set's of elite midfields.

And it's great to see Yaya finally getting his credit, I've been saying it for a long time and people are finally coming around.
