but i thought it would be a good match cos its not that hard lol.. but to be fair the team did good, the traffic cone infront of the opposite goal was the problem.

The goalkeeper stopped him, and he missed some chances. Are we disappointed he didn't score? Yes, we are. But he was still giving his all to the team. He's playing better. He didn't play badly tonight. You can analyse a striker purely on the number of goals he scores – maybe you're right – but he did a great job for the team. It's not easy against a team playing so deep, but he won the ball in the air, brought options for those around him. I thought he played well. If he continues working like today and playing like he did today, he will score goals. I'm convinced about that.

Torres - 23 starts, 7 goals
Lukaku - 11 starts, 10 goals

Doesn't look too even to me! Bear in mind also that Lukaku isn't even first choice striker, is an inexperienced teenager, and has a vastly inferior supporting cast around him compared to what blondie has.

atm id be more then happy to have Ba and Lukaku rotating as our strikers and to move for someone more established in the summer who once they start to fade into their 30s can be replaced by Luaku

Not really, Lukaku performances has been much better as a sub imo. He is extremely effective against tired defenders, his strength and speed is a mismatch against most defenders.
