Chelsea Vs QPR
The derby which really heated up last year. I don't think I need to mention what happened last time we visited Loftus road. Lets hope we don't have a repeat.
Chelsea are favourites to win with some bookies going as far as 5/6 odds of winning. QPR however, have strengthened since last season and are looking to challenge the big guys, can they start tomorrow? who knows? But Chelsea will want a win at all costs for a few reasons, firstly, To rid the memory of last season and secondly, to say on top of the table. QPR only have 1 point from 3 matches and will be wanting their first win of the season to get out of the relegation Zone. What ever happens, this is going to be a cracking match!
Team News:
Marin, Terry and Cole should all be fit and able to play while Azpilicueta and Moses could make their debuts'.
QPR could give home debuts to Granero, Mbia, Nelson and Julio Cesar and have a fit squad ready for the clash. This is of course the return of Bosingwa for Chelsea, who Ironically was sent off for Chelsea in this clash last season.
possible formations:
Cech
Ivanoivc Luiz Terry Cole
Mikel Lampard
Moses Mata Hazard
Torres
Cisse
Hoilett Thaarabt SWP
Granero Park
Fabio Mbia Nelson Bosingwa
Cesar
Ivanoivc Luiz Terry Cole
Mikel Lampard
Moses Mata Hazard
Torres
Cisse
Hoilett Thaarabt SWP
Granero Park
Fabio Mbia Nelson Bosingwa
Cesar

RDM said Marin will be playing with the U21 and malouda( )on Saturday to regain fitness.
It is tough call if Mata will play since he just came back from an extended break, so i doubt he would be a probable starter.

Piazon is in the squad for this game. Won't see any time but still a good confidence boost for him.

I'm probably one of the few people who think QPR could get something done this season. So I'm guessing this will be a tight game. Hopefully handshakes and the sort won't ruin the quality of football in this match and players concentrate on their game.

Re: Chelsea Vs QPR
Marin played in the U21 team last night and was pretty ordinary according to what i've read.
I'm hoping Mata doesn't play or if he does will be off the bench but I guess we'll see. So keen for this game after that international break, seems like forever.

I'd love to see Mata given some more rest. RDM should go with Oscar and Hazard imo.

Re: Chelsea Vs QPR
Is RDM really serious here by playing two defensive wingers against QPR?

I'm watching this game and I think it needs more Moses instead of Bertrand.

Pathetic from RDM. He won't last long if it goes on like this.

Re: Chelsea Vs QPR
Ramires is not a winger.
Bertrand shouldn't be starting against QPR ffs.
Sturridge needs more playing time.
Lampard-Mikel is just not going to work for the season.
QPHAHA fans = worst bellends in the league.

Re: Chelsea Vs QPR
Also, Torres should be ashamed of himself. All the immense (and mostly undeserved, btw) faith shown in him by the club, Robbie, and the fans, to storm down the tunnel like that, especially after such a poor performance and a very well-deserved substitution, it's a disgrace.
Considering he's being played now purely out of sympathy and to coddle his child-level sensitivity, and considering the fans chant his name supporting him even each and every time he gets one of his usual dumb, awkward, failed touches on the ball, you'd think he'd show a little more respect.

I've been holding myself back from the temptation of simply giving him stick for all the shoite he does but he's pushing me over the edge now. Quite annoying.

Re: Chelsea Vs QPR
Well a few more stunts like that and the crowds will be feeling the same way. He's been getting more backing from them than he's earned or deserves for a LONG time, and if he keeps those kind of antics up, he can forgot about it continuing.Barrettinator wrote:This.ShedEnd1905 wrote:Also, Torres should be ashamed of himself. Re: Chelsea Vs QPR
QPR played well, though. Worked hard and showed no fear. Maybe Oscar instead of Lampard or Ramires would have given some creativity in the middle, now too much was up to Hazard in the wing.
But a draw isn't bad for you guys, if QPR can play like that at Loftus Road I'm quite sure you won't be the only top-6 team to leave the place without a win.
