Juventus’ Isla returns to action

Juventus new boy Mauricio Isla has returned to competitive action after a seven-month spell on the sidelines.

The midfielder damaged knee ligaments last February while with Udinese, but started in Chile’s World Cup 3-1 qualifying loss to Colombia this week.

Isla lasted 67 minutes in his first official game back – although he did compete in a Juventus Primavera match in August.

The 24-year-old moved to the Italian champions in the summer from Udinese, along with Kwadwo Asamoah, on a co-ownership basis.

can't wait to see him in action for Juve...

what was his first official game? for chile?

Honestly I don't expect much from him after being sidelined for 7 months. hope he can find his best form till january
