Ibra is gone!!! Cavani's form is suffering of late.

So is Jovetic the best forward in Serie A at the moment???

I think he is better than all of those guys on the list at the moment, the only one that comes close is Cavani (who hasn't been anywhere near his best yet).

Di Natale/Milito/Cavani/Pazzini might finish above him in goal scoring
Cassano's overall play ought to be considered, as well as Totti (just based off what we have seen so far)

And Osvaldo might surprise a lot of people

Giovinco and Vucinic could also have a decent turn out statistically

but yeah, Jovetic (as it stands) is among these names

It really depends on how you're judging 'best forward'

I should've been specific. It's not just goals I'm talking about (although it is a major factor when talking about forwards). It's carrying their teams offensive duties on their shoulders.

Well, Fiorentina definitely plays through Jovetic. He is the focal point.
Just like Cavani for Napoli, Vucinic for Juventus, Di Natale for Udinese etc.

I think, on that criteria, it would be between Jovetic, Cavani and Di Natale

I don't think he's even top 5 to be honest. Was never that impressed with him though, always thought he was overrated and didn't understand why we wanted him so bad. Personally I rate Vucinic and Gio both higher.

look at Cassano's statistics:
1 shot --> 1 goal, 5 key passes, accuracy 100%

and Pazzini is doing well too
I think Jovetic needs some time to mature and to build some experience

Jovetic has potential and he already showed us what is he capable of, but he can't be in TOP 5 at the moment.Yes, in the future he might be the best forward in Serie A.

It also has to do with his decisions.I think he already made a bad decision but not a fatal one.He didn't move this summer.He has another chances in this winter's mercato or next summer, but he must appreciate well the moment because it might be too late.I think that a Juventus move this summer would have given him a lift.
