Pablo Sarabia
Possibly the most talented player Castilla produced in the last 15-20 years, but is there any chance to use the buy-back clause ? How's he doing with Getafe ?

More talented than Jese?
No idea what his situation is.. I only believe buy back clauses when we use them

Yes.
@Swagg
He's a different player from Jese. He's more of a Silva, but with pace.

way more talented than jese, he plays in a different position though
i would say that rodrigo was another ridiculously talented player we let go with a buy out as well
he may get a call up soon

Re: Pablo Sarabia
I see, because Jese looks to be pretty damn good .. I don't have time to keep up with Castilla players, and they seem to always get loaned out to teams that I don't watch.. Except the ones that go to Benfica , or a player that makes it big like Mata

@cyborg
I beleive the buy-back on Rodrigo is not there anymore, it has exceeded the amount of years we put on there
Sarabia isn't getting any playing time for Getafe so it will be difficult for him to come back while we have Mou, we still have the buy-back option though
Mosquera came back from Getafe but it was to Castilla, Toril knows these kids and if he had been our coach instead of Mou i am sure Sarabia would have been back by now
When Kaka eventually gets sold, we can finally look to get back players we have sent out on glorified loan moves

sad thing about rodrigo, but we are still linked even though the buy back its gone
you think sarabia should follow mosquera and come back as well
because mosquera has been playing well and has been starting most games since he came back
plus the level of competition has increased since we got promoted
at least he will be getting game time

Re: Pablo Sarabia
No Sarabia is light years ahead of every other Castilla in terms of talent and ability. Lets not kid ourselves. Morata and Jese aren't near him.
Sadly Mourinho has a fear and allergy against youth so you won't be seeing him being a vital squad member any time soon.
Sarabia deserves a far better club to develop in then Getafe as I sincerely hope a better club takes him and gives time to develop this brilliant talent.

Re: Pablo Sarabia
Sarabia was very hasty in wanting to play for another club, the club wanted him and Morata to stay but Sarabia wanted to leave so its kind of his fault
But i hope he gets tired of sitting on the bench and comes back to Castilla and en-route to our first team
Mou liked Sarabia when he was with us i am sure he might let him get promoted, after all an inferior player in Morata was promoted, when Kaka fcks off we will have a spot available for him, hope Mou has some sense in him and gets him back

To be honest Mourinho has shown a lot of liking for many young players in Real, Chelsea and Inter yet never really followed through with them aside from Balotelli and Santon, both whom were his favourites.
If Sarabia wants to leave he should be given that chance and frankly is way above coming back into the Castilla and hoping for a chance that will most likely not be given to him.
Getafe is a dead end.

Re: Pablo Sarabia
i don't fault him, after all many of our former Canteras have gone to Getafe before playing for another big team, its like a stepping stone....maybe he was promised to come back after the two years that were stated in the buy-back, kind of like Carvajal who beasted for Leverkusen last game... he was just unlucky that Getafe got a coach that has youngsterphobia after Michel decided to not renew his contract
But i still have hopes for him to come back, Mosquera came back from Getafe last season hopefully Sarabia comes back at the end of this
Believe it or not Callegoat is one of Mou's favourites and he was a former Castilla man, so is Nacho/Juanfran who currently play for Castilla, Mou loves these players

Re: Pablo Sarabia
Sarabia scored recently for the U21 side, IIRC. How he is still getting called up for that is beyond me. I really thought he had a lot of potential, but he isnt playing at all at Getafe and I cant see why we didnt buy him back, even to loan him to some other club, at the end of last season.

Re: Pablo Sarabia
tbh Spain's U21 team is full of farce
i mean firstly Sarabia who barely plays for Getafe starts for Spain, Batra another one who doesn't start or get any playing time pretty much gets most of the time in Spain U21 etc etc
I bet if Sarabia was still with Castilla he wouldn't have been called up for Spain, such a shame really the deserved players don't get called up
I think he himself has to have a desire to return or go to another club for us to do that, like Mosquera, maybe Sarabia wanted to give it another season, who knows

Re: Pablo Sarabia
This kid is possibly the best Spanish talent since Iniesta/Silva, better than the likes of Isco, Canales or Thiago, and he is wasted.

Sarabia is not better than Thiago or Isco.
In fact, he is worse than Deulofeu and is like 3 years older.

What are you basing this on, performances for Spain youth or Getafe?
At Getafe he is horribly played out of position time and time again and is never given a chance really so that would be understandable.

Re: Pablo Sarabia
Sarabia is definately not better than Thiago or Isco, but freecat you have no reason to say Deulofeu just because he hardly plays at Getafe. When they were in the same team in the Spanish youth, Sarabia was clearly the big star and Deulofeu had to settle for second spot.

Maybe not better, but he is more talented, and his talent is wasted.

.
I'm basing it on 2011's Spains U-something that won the European. Yeah, Sarabia was somewhat better than Deulofeu then, but since then Deulofeu has improved a lot and Sarabia is going backwards, and he is 2 years older than Deulofeu.

Sarabia is not better, neither more talented than Isco or Thiago. Actually, there are few players in the world with Thiago's talent.

I don't know if it was or wasn't awarded to him. It was a double rebound goal with sheer luck. Sarabia had 0 merit in this goal.
