Giovinco set for ankle tests
Sebastian Giovinco will undergo tests on Monday and Tuesday to assess whether he will be fit for Juventus’ next Serie A game.
The forward, re-signed by the Old Lady from Parma in the summer, picked up a left ankle problem in the 2-0 win against his former club on Saturday.
The Italian international is walking unaided, but is still feeling some discomfort ahead of the Week 2 game at Udinese.
Boss Antonio Conte should get a clearer understanding of the situation when the squad resumes training tomorrow.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Gigi Buffon is set to return to action after he missed the weekend’s game. Giorgio Chiellini could also start after recovering from his Euro 2012 fitness issues.
