on topic, I don't think there are players in Britain to get anywhere close to Barca's playing style. It's a harsh reality, but you need the DNA from the start.

Bale is more like Sanchez/Pedro than he is David Villa...

Cant find a British player who is similar to Villa ..Rooney probably but he is the centerpiece of this lineup though like Messi for Barca.

I think Barcelona have even shown interest in Bale havent they? I think if Bale ever was to go to Barcelona, he would be deployed as a full-back as I think that would be his strongest position within their style of play - even if it's not his strongest position for spuds

. Who knows, if there was some complication with the Alba signing, maybe he would have been a prime target for them?

Imo i dint include Pirlo and Marchisio cuz they dont quite compliment Barca's style(Pirlo a bit too slow for Barca's type of game and Marchisio is a completely different player compared to Iniesta or Xavi).Trying to be unbiased here.

And i gave Giovinco the Messi tag cuz i believe he's a playmaker as well,not just a dribbler/scorer.

Couldn't create a proper British Barcelona team alike so went for that.

Hm. With a 4-1-2-3 I have my doubts for a German version. Fortunately the players are pretty versatile... Actually I wonder what would happen if Löw would try that one day

^ Kyle Runner is a sprinter mate, not a footballer.

He can't dribble in 1 vs 1s....and that's why he isn't like Alves.

Deny Walker space and he'll be useless. can't recall him dribbling past a fullback in a 1 vs. 1 situation or a tight angle.

Horrible player.
