Will Barcelona become the first team to retain the CL?

They have top 3 players in the world in Messi, Neymar and Suarez. Their midfield is quite solid with Mascherano and Busquets and Iniesta always delivers when it matters in midfield. Now even Sergi Roberto has improved to play at a top level and doesn't look out of place. The only question comes with their defence but who cares about that when barcelona can dismantle opponents with just their attack.

The only competition they have is Bayern. Bayern vs barcelona will be the best CL final we can have. Granted both sides have fully fit squads. I hope they don't meet each other before.

But atm for me barcelona are on a different level to every team bar Bayern.

People said the same thing about us last season when we beat Barça and went on a 22-winning streak. It's really, really too early to say.

Yeah only Bayern are the par competition. They can beat anyone else quite easily.

Not all teams are as awfully organized as Madrid lol... you have Bayern that will challenge. It will come down to luck in the elimination round games as it always does. People are going to park the bus and counter, which can take down anyone unfortunately.

If i can remember you always said that you like Real Madrid More than Barcelona. And prefer Ronaldo over Messi. .People really change too fast defending on the result.

Some day a team will retain the CL obviously. There's no reason it won't happen and it's certainly not unlikely that Barcelona will win it this year.

If any team is going to do it in the near future it's Barcelona. Their team is ridiculously stacked, and has great depth everywhere except defence.

CL is not only about BEST team , there are many factors. Take RM or Bayern , they are strong but they have to deal with many other factors.

Every year now we have this thread open. Last year it was Madrid that was greater than Saachis Milan and the best Madrid since Di Stefanos era, The year before it was Bayern of the treble, before them it was Pepcelona, before them it was United of CR, Rooney and Tevez.

Historically speaking the odds are against them, but historically speaking, no team has ever had 3 of the best attacking players of their generation in one team so I think they have a good chance, and their egos don't get in the way. Possible, yes. Will they do it? We will have to wait and see.
