Yes BPL, no Arsenal don't anymore. We did when we had Nasri,Cesc,RVP etc. Now we have Pub teamers like Gervinho,Giroud,Poldi. Hardly Barcelona like is it Smile

Arsenal are nothing like Barcelona, not even close. Different styles of football.

Dare I say... Tottenham are closest EPL team to Barcelona at the moment.

nah i still think arsenal is the closest thing, especially when wilshere comes back.

cesc and rvp were big blows to our footballing play though. i agree with you there. (cant believe u added nasri to that list though, we have better players than him already.)

Arsenal do not really play high line, slow buildup tiki-taka anymore. We do not have the players to play that style any more. To be honest we did not have the players to play that style back then either. At least not in defense- we never really pressed the opposition.

In retrospect how bad of an idea was that? Playing high line defense with defenders had horrible sense of positioning (bar Gallas). I think we are going back to playing a modified version of how we use to play during the early 2000s... and that is not a bad thing at all.

It's not a joke... Tottenham are closer to Barcelona than Arsenal are. Atleast so far from what I've seen.

It's not a joke... Tottenham are closer to Barcelona than Arsenal are. Atleast so far from what I've seen.

How is that ?? All they do is get the ball to Lennon and Bale, they hardly try attack through the middle

They don't play like Barca,they play a lot like Spain.One creative CM (Oscar) 2 AMs (Hazard and Mata) and a scrub as #9 (Torres)

--Hazard-Oscar-Mata- is one of the best if not the second best midfield out there imo

Oscar is on paper playing in the "hole" but he drops too deep and plays like Xavi for Spain.
