Juventus was consistently in Europe.
They sold zidane to fund the transfers of nedved and Buffon.

We make excuses yet you're the one giving crude valuations of players, assuming that they can be signed for whatever reason...
You have to realize that Italy isn't a popular destination.
Juventus cannot match wages with Manchester city or psg, so Juventus will almost always lose out when there is competition.

If you've looked at marotta's transfer campaigns you would see how much he has spent and how many players he signed. He went for quantity and he signed a whole mess of players because the squad needed a makeover. Now is the time to spend big on a couple players and juventus has failed to do so for whatever reason. If they can sign dzeko, jovetic or even Llorente I will be pleased.

Just saying man, you're a good poster. But you act like its so easy, that you can just approach a club with a cheque and the signing will be made. There's a number of other issues.

The big players will come you have to give it time . You need to remember this is our first year back in Cl which for big name players is a must. We now have our new stadium rolling which will be a great source of extra revenue especially once our loan is payed and we strike a naming rites deal (which I think is already in the works) The future of the game is going to be more in the investment of youth and less in splashing insane amounts of money on players and I think Marotta realizes this and is setting us up very nicely for the years to come . This sport has heavy cycles and I believe that we are just coming out of the bottom of ours.
