@ Iszanto, different teams and coaches, the only one from 2010/2011 that starts now is Mario Suarez all others have left or retired and above all they have a better coach now. Not saying best team in the world but definitely a force to be reckoned

Since Simeone took over(New Year) they have only conceded 22 goals in all competitions and went 6 games without conceding and only lost 4 times in all competitions, imho the best team in Spain after Barca/Real

They only lost 2-1 against Barca, a game they should've won if it wasn't for their missed chances and an unsportsmanlike Missi freekick, they outplayed us until Ronaldo's two wonder goals that got us the win against them, the two other teams beat them are Levante and Mallorca both away

Just read our post on WAGNH about the match and I think it's interesting what they said. RDM could approach the game one of 2 ways, first he could treat it as a must win trophy and he'll put out our strongest team expecting to win. The other is we could field a team including Moses/Azpi and maybe a few younger players(Bert LB) which would see it as an opportunity to give Mata and the likes a decent rest after 3 games in 6 days.

Either way should be good, whether or not we get to see our new signings.

I imagine we will go for it. Especially considering most people don't think we deserve our CL.

Cech
Ivanovic Luiz Terry/Cahill Cole
Mikel Meireles/Ramires
Hazard Mata Bertrand
Torres

Atleti don't have the strongest midfield and their strength is in the wings so that team could very well win.

Im pretty sure a week is more than enough rest for all the players. Im expecting a strong lineup hence the prediction for a high scoreline cheers

I am only laughing at how poorly our defence has been. Obviously did not bother to learn how Atleti play. In the same token I am disapointed with how Chelsea approached this match.

It should be much closer.

I am not going to single out a single player, the whole team was poor, they did not do their home work on falcao or Atletico. Shamefull really.

Yeah that was awful, really don't understand. Looked like we wanted them to score at times just giving them huge amounts of space and way too much time. Props to Ateltico but we gave it to them imo.

That said better it happen in this match than in PL or something.

Not really.

They sat deep and we pushed too many players forward and lack of players tracking back(even Bran thought he was a RW today). They countered and were clinical, finishing every time.

They were the better team by a country mile but they were made to look better by our awful play. So much knee jerking by the commentators and everybody it's hilarious. Falcao had hours to place each one of his shots with nobody closing him down.
