Messi is so overrated its ridiculous. He wastes so many balls with overly ambitious dribbles and passes its ridiculous. If he was still at Newell's Old Boys he wouod never be rated so highly here, its only because he plays for Barcelona. Hes also better than Mata, who i never realized was overrated here but apparently is.

Realistically, Podolski is world class, but Messi is on a whole nother level. Nothing to be ashamed of though for Poldi, as in my opinion Messi is on a whole nother level from every single other current footballer. Podolski has a better, harder long range shot, is stronger, and is probably straight-line speed faster, but thats it. Theyre also comparable at free kicks and PKs. But Messi is far better at literally everything else.
