Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
Tonight's WWE RAW takes place from San Antonio, Texas with HBK Appreciation Night advertised. Triple H, Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels are all scheduled to appear tonight but there's no confirmation yet that the festivities will be airing on TV.

Would be nice if Big show is beating the crap out of Cena and HBK comes in and sweet chins him.

I think HBK's got more chance of being special guest ref in the Triple H-Lesnar match.

Funny how you all talk about the old guys lol.
Not just from a technical stand point, it is a lot worse but also from storyline point and not just from the wrestlers but also the guy's in the background.
Was watching the rise and fall of WCW last night and made me realise how much wrestling was better back then but not just in a spectacle or a technical reasons but storyline and character building.

It's just back then WWE had competition, hence the attitude era and the programming being good.
The 'ruthless aggression' era was also pretty good, since it had stars from WCW and WWE. But they started leaving, WWE became PG etc and no new stars are really being created currently.
Punk obviously made WWE interesting for a while last year, but a few months later it returned to being predictable. January-April was alright, since it was WM season. But since May WWE has been boring.

Agreed that is a big part of it, the wrestlers are worse now from in-ring talents to mic skills etc etc but a lot of that could be negated if there was more creative guys behind the scenes coming up with good storylines.
Oh well

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
It seems like the creative only focuses on the main storyline. The rest of the show seems like filler.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
Just finished watching today's episode, the best one so far the last months i have seen in imo, just needs a bit more backstage segments tbh
also Jericho is amazing, the best on the mic left in the business. It would also be a disgrace if Lesnar doesn't win over Triple H at Summerslam, he would lose all credibility

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
Was hoping Wade would come out at Raw 1000 and drop one of Cena/Sheamus
Really like Wade for some reason.
also just thinking how amazing an Orton CM Punk duo ala DX could be.
Fuggin PG rating ruins it!

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
There has been at least some discussion about taking the WWE Title off CM Punk at SummerSlam and then doing The Rock vs. John Cena at the Royal Rumble followed by Rock vs. Punk at WrestleMania 29.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 2
A three-way WWE Tag Team Title match with Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Primo and Epico may end up on the WWE SummerSlam card. Other matches possible for the show in less than two weeks are The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title and Damien Sandow vs. Brodus Clay.
WWE reportedly has a strong final angle being saved for next week's RAW that is supposed to be the difference maker in the build to SummerSlam.

Sandow vs Clay seems like it will be a match. I can't get too excited for the tag team matches tbh. Also think Ryback and Mahal will be on the card unless they want to finish that feud before the ppv
