Today in  the match Grasshopper Club Zürich vs FC Basel, Gilles Yapi scored a great long range goal. I bet Roman Bürki (GCZ GK) wasn't amused...

Pity I haven't found a reel of Yann Sommer's saves from today yet - he had quite a lot of work against the Grasshoppers!

So, this was the all deciding penalty in the CL qualification match of FC Basel vs Molde FK. The 1st leg was a 1:0 away-win for Basel, while the result of the 2nd leg was 1:1, when 2 minutes in injury time, Basel's defender Gaston Sauro fouled a Norwegian player in the box and the ref called for a penalty. Now it was do or don't - if the pen got in, then Basel would be out of the CL. Magne Hoseth, who took the penalty, scored 50 of 52 PKs he took before.

Also I like how the players reaction is to go towards it a bit but none of them actually intend to try and catch it

The pine martin event prompted FCZ to come up with a special T-shirt in the fanshop that had the lions of the club logo replaced by two pine martins
