Juve close on Bonatini

Brazilian youngster Leo Bonatini is reportedly in Italy to undergo his medical and complete a transfer to Juventus. The 18-year-old forward is said to be in Turin over the weekend for a visit with the Bianconeri staff.

However, goal.com claim the deal is not entirely finished yet, particularly as the player’s ownership situation is complex.Half of Bonatini’s contract belongs to Cruzeiro, 35 per cent to his family and 15 per cent to a businessman.

It is believed Juve have already agreed terms with the club and his father, but have yet to reach a deal with the last remaining shareholder.

Bonatini is an Under-20 international and it is reported he cost Juventus around €5m.The Bianconeri are set to leave him in Brazil for another year in order to grow before taking him to Serie A.
