Re: Oscar
Torres is still awesome in fifa.
If you up his speed by like 5 points he is uncatchable.

Re: Oscar
I am really sold on this guy after downloading all of the Brazil friendlies. He is exactly the player we need. He must play in the no.10 role, and he will make the likes of Mata and Hazard much better. He likes to drop deep and orchestrates play and build up attack from there, while Hazard(from Lille) and Mata look for the final ball most of the time and station higher up on the pitch, so they are more like a SS then a midfielder when they play in the middle.
----------------Torres------------------
Mata-----------Oscar-----------Hazard
--------Lampard---Mikel---------------
Cole-----Terry------Luiz-------Ivanovic
-----------------Cech--------------------
It has been a while since i have been this excited about a season.

Re: Oscar
Haha, The only thing is Mata has to learn to defend. Then it is a perfect line up.

I would love it if he could play that deep and control the midfield from there.Blue wrote:I am really sold on this guy after downloading all of the Brazil friendlies. Nah, he wouldn't have the same freedom and he will not be utilized the best way. He pops up everywhere on the pitch and so good running the game, i don't want to mass with that.
Highly unlikely to see Ramires at RW, with options like Marin, Mata, Hazard, KDB, and maybe even Benayoun.
Barrettinator wrote:Trust me, Lampard will not play more than 35 matches this season.
He had 49 appearances even with all of the shit with AVB. He will easily play 40+ matches this season, unless McEachran steps up.

I can see that against teams who play very deep and park the bus.
Anyway

Re: Oscar
Got some fresh post-game news
A Brazilian commentator who lives in London joked with him saying they would be neighbors soon and he didnt deny it,just avoided confirming the deal.
After the match Oscar got Sturridge's jersey and spoke a bit with him.
Later on he confirmed the medical
- "I came to London and to not delay the NT, a Chelsea doctor was following the NT bus. I gave him a medical."
-"I'm not a Chelsea player yet. I'm thinking about the Olympics."
pretty official to me.rumors from over here say he wont even come back to Brazil

As a footballer i would say he is 11 times the player Benayoun is.
As a Right Attacking midfielder, play in tight spaces, and connect passes. Benayoun is kinda better.
On the counter Ramires obviously is more dangerous, but most of the team we will play is going to play very defensively.

Re: Oscar
Sounds to me that the only thing left in the Oscar deal is for him to sign and maybe some fine tuning of the personal agreements.
I am 99% sure he will be ours after the Olympics.
