This is a very tough question. Ronaldo, Messi, and Pirlo all come to mind, but my vote has to go to Messi. Firstly, whilst Ronaldo has been scoring the goals regularly, he hasn't put in as many amazing performances as Messi. Regarding Pirlo, he had the better season out of the all, to be honest, but it's hard to place him ahead of a rampant Messi. Even though Barcelona lost the league and were largely disappointing, the Argentine was still influential.

Cristiano Ronaldo of course. Dude scored against every single team in la liga, in all Copa del Rey knockouts even quarters in both games when his team got eliminated, and all Champions League knockouts even semifinals when his team got eliminated. Thats not consistent???

I don't see how Ronaldo and even Messi are brought up in this thread. They're both great but they have games where they shine exceedingly and games where they're nowhere to be seen (one more than the other...). There are other players that are consistently great. Almost every performance Busquets puts in is rated between a 7 and an 8, rarely below or above but always more than reliable. I wouldn't consider Xavi this last season due to his injury troubles and the sheer amount of games he was forced to play, which affected his performance somewhat. Zanetti is a great choice, but I haven't watched Inter in a while.

Most consistent for me would be ronaldo. Alonso as well deserves a mention

Messi. Surely, the amount of goals he scored and the fact he is the best makes it obvious.

Ronaldo imo. Scoring against every team in La Liga is enough proof for me that he has been the most consistent this season.

Except that when he doesn't score his contribution is null and fans start asking for him to be sold. A consistent player will be good even if he doesn't score.

Cyborg Zanetti how can anyone look elsewhere?

Messi, 82 goals + 40 assists @ 69 games for club+nt, in less than 10 months time. Missed only one game in La Liga, because accumulated yellows, one game in UCL because it was pointless, and two games in CDR, because it was against 4th division team. Doesn't really have bad games in other players standards, only few on his own.
